Southeast Portland Real Estate
Southeast Portland real estate is highly sought after, and has resulted in an area of town that people move to, deciding not to leave. It consists of many neighborhoods all clustered closely together that make up this hip and happening quadrant of Portland. Many commercial areas, like Hawthorne and Belmont, have been well established for years, and boast businesses (and residents) that have been calling this home for 20+ years. There are also some great areas with new properties that have just developed in the last couple of years, like the exciting Clinton neighborhood, and the up and coming Foster Powell area. And, of course, we can't forget about sweet, tucked away Sellwood and Eastmoreland, their own "small towns" within our larger metropolis. Southeast Portland is an interesting mix of hipster, liberals (it is Portland), and lots of families. We find this area is where many people moving from larger cities, like the Bay area, New York, Seattle and Los Angeles are drawn to, maybe because of the urban vibe it exudes.
